Where: Upjohn Nature Reserve, Bracebridge

What: Hike along the Wood Duck Loop, stopping to search for turtles and other wildlife at 3 of the beaver pond lookouts

Difficulty Level: Easy-moderate, flat terrain with some roots, logs, and rocks

Bring: Comfortable hiking shoes, sunscreen and a hat, bug repellent, water and snacks, and binoculars or a camera if you have them.

• Muskoka's 6 species at risk turtles and how to tell them apart
• Turtle ecology: habitat, diet, life-cycle, and more
• Turtle conservation and what you can do to help
• The wildlife that call Upjohn their home: woodpeckers, deer, and more
