    Demand-Responsive Transit  system

The District Demand-Responsive Transit (DRT) is a transit service model that is becoming more popular in rural areas. Passengers can book rides thirty (30) minutes to thirty (30) days in advance and each day the Blaise Transit technology will match riders with a vehicle and determine the route for the day. The system navigates drivers to each pick up and drop off. Trips may be individual or shared with multiple riders during busy times of the day and when passengers are on their way to similar destinations. The vehicle is accessible, which means anyone wishing to travel in the service area can book rides, regardless of age or ability.
